Healthy Habits for Radiant Skin: Achieving your Skincare goals
I am sure you are in the process of drafting your vision board, 2024 goals, and all that good stuff. It is good to set these goals but it is important to have them realized. As you are striving for healthier skin in 2024 let’s go through 4 habits that will facilitate your vision:
1. Be consistent! This is the one habit you can’t go wrong with. Once you have your morning and evening routine set out you want to make sure you follow it judiciously. I don’t want to look at it like a no pain no gain situation but if you want to see results you have to be meticulous with your routines. It is ok to skip a routine now and then because it will happen when it does pick up yourself and continue. You will benefit from having a routine over time. Once in a while you can have an intense routine but bear in mind it is consistency over intensity
2. Ever so often book a spa appointment and have a professional treatment. During such treatments, medical-grade products and procedures will be applied which will garnish your home regimen.
3. Take care of your general health.
Have a nutrient-rich diet; include foods rich in antioxidants, fruits, and vegetables.
Adequate sleep helps in skin repair.
Monitor your stress levels and engage in activities such as quiet time, walks, yoga, and simple breathing activities to help reduce stress levels.
4. Engage in healthy skin practices. Use products that will not adversely affect the skin but protect and enhance your beautiful skin. Also, avoid changing products so quickly. Unless you notice your skin is reacting to a product, you want to use it for a month before wanting to try a new product.
