What’s in your vacation bag?
We are gradually creeping into normalcy, vacation destinations and different countries are opening up for tourists, and visitors. I don’t know about you, but I honestly think we are all due for some get away. Time to just relax, sunbathe, allow the waters of the sea to refresh our souls, eat some good but healthy food and most importantly free ourselves from a minute of worries of 2020.
So where are you headed? What will you be packing for your skin care? In this article I will be talking about my 5 must haves for my skin care while going on vacation.
1. Number 1; you guessed right a cleanser. I think this one is pretty obvious right? Your regular daily cleanser is as good for your travel just maybe you want to get a travel size
2. Then you need your exfoliant. You need to help with that process of desquamation (where old skin cells give way to new skin cells aka skin cell turnover). Remember exfoliating helps slow down the visibility of ageing
3. Listen if you have to forget anything, please not your vitamin c serum. Here is the thing, you’d be out most of the time and in a different environment your skin is probably not use to. Vit C is an antioxidant and great brightener. So, it will help protect your skin and build a hedge against environmental detractors.
4. You want to also keep your skin hydrated with a good balance of oil. That brings us to your moisturizer. You don’t want to come back looking ashy or pale because of lack of good moisturizing.
5. This like you Vit C cannot be forgotten. You want to protect your skin from every form of UV radiation (UVA & UVB). No matter your skin tone, SPF is a must have. A physical sunscreen is most recommendable for such trips.
Be good to your skin, you’ll wear it everyday for the rest of your life.
