Peel Away!

It’s officially peel season! I mean you could have a peel any time of the year but I generally advise the cold seasons. If you are anything like me you are probably still tanned after all the summer shenanigans. However, Fall/Winter are my fave and advisable seasons of chemical exfoliation. Chemical peels are a form of exfoliation. They could be done from light to deep depths. As a form of exfoliation, it intends to help with the process of desquamation which is skin recycling. By this dead skin lying on top is taken off and it gives way to new skin.

The benefits of exfoliation in this case chemical exfoliation are enormous:

·       Treat wrinkles

·       Treat hyper-pigmentation

·       Treat scars

·       Treat acne

·       Increase hydration

The results as such will give your skin the hydrated, supple, glowy, and even skin tone we all desire! The frequency of chemical peels depends on the potency of the peel. You could have surface layer peels more often like once a month. On the other hand, Deep peels should be less frequent; once or twice a year.

As we gear towards the cold days it is advisable to increase hydration. More so help with brighter skin after summer. You should consider a chemical peel one of these days! Wondering what peel to go for? No worries send an email and we can advise on what peel your skin can benefit from.

Let’s keep it simple, Let’s keep it healthy for you!
